RELATED: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion - Chapter List
Most of the trophies in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion are tied to quests that can only be accessed during certain parts of the game. If the player misses any of these trophies, they will need to return to the moment just before they were missed, or else miss out on them entirely. Though these trophies can be obtained in New Game Plus, it’s handier to get them all during one playthrough.
Hero of the Wutai War?
The player can easily miss the Hero of the Wutai War? trophy if they fail to vanquish the Wutai forces in Chapter 1. Finding them all requires the player to thoroughly investigate each area before exiting through the door at the end of the stronghold. To obtain the trophy, Zack must vanquish twenty different enemy groups, two of which can only be found by interacting with the towers at the front of the base.
Master Mako Stone Miner
The Master Mako Stone Miner trophy can be unlocked shortly into the beginning of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion by completing the M8-2: Mako Stones missions. To gain access to them, Zack must speak with the Researcher standing in the Materia Room in the Shinra Building.
Slicin’ SOLDIER
The Slicin’ SOLDIER trophy can be obtained by successfully destroying all the incoming shells in Chapter 2. While it can be quite difficult to figure out when to swing Zack’s sword, the visual and audio cues should make the process somewhat easier.
Banora Treasures
Immediately after obtaining the Slicin’ SOLDIER trophy in Chapter 2, Zack must sprint back to Angeal’s house before the time runs out. Before heading straight to his destination; however, he should collect the five glowing objects scattered throughout the area. Doing so will reward him with some helpful items, while also unlocking the Banora Treasures trophy.
Fan Club Aficionado
In Chapter 2, Zack gets access to Sector 8. Sadly, it’s possible to progress forward without ever visiting the area, as the game fails to inform the player that Zack can go there.
To obtain the Fan Club Aficionado trophy, Zack must approach the three women standing together in the Sector 8 - Fountain. There, he will learn about the various SOLDIER fan clubs spread throughout Midgar, before receiving the opportunity to join two of them. He can also approach the lone woman on LOVELESS Avenue to become a member of the Loveless fan club.
In Chapter 5, Zack can join the Silver Elite by conversing with the boy in the Sector 6 Slums - Park. The child will ask Zack a series of Sephiroth-related questions to test his knowledge. To gain access to the club, the player must answer the first question with “Masamune,” the second with “Super Nova,” and the third with “His left hand.” In Chapter 6, Zack can join his own fan club by speaking to the left receptionist in the Shinra Building.
First-Rate SOLDIER
The First Rate SOLDIER trophy can be obtained during Chapter 3 by interacting with Hojo in the Training Room. Hojo will then ask Zack to battle a series of experiments that must all be vanquished in order for the trophy to be earned.
Everyone’s Hero
The Everyone’s Hero trophy can only be acquired by rescuing the endangered civilians spread throughout Midgar during Chapter 3. To find them all, Zack must explore each area carefully and defeat the enemies that threaten them. Once the three citizens on the SOLDIER Floor of the Shinra Building have been saved, the remaining two can be found cowering on LOVELESS Avenue.
Precise Restoration
In Chapter 4, Zack is tasked with protecting Hojo from the attack on the Shinra Building. Before interacting with him; however, Zack can examine the equipment at the far side of the room and use it to configure the Mako Recovery Unit. To obtain the Precise Restoration trophy, players must activate the device, wait five seconds, then deactivate it.
Of Significant Worth
To obtain the Of Significant Worth trophy, Zack must approach the pod in Hojo’s lab and answer Hojo’s questions correctly. The answer to the first question is “A SOLDIER operative like Sephiroth,” the second is “State-of-the-art science and technology,” and the third is “A person unafraid to challenge Shinra.”
Cell Raider
During the attack on the Shinra Building, Zack will be given the option to explore the 67th Floor. If Zack defeats all the enemies wandering the hallways, he will obtain the six keys required to open the cells on the same floor. Once each cell has been looted, the Cell Raider trophy will be rewarded.
Good Match For Aerith
The Good Match for Aerith trophy can be earned during Chapter 4 if Zack proves himself to the residents of Sector 5. To do this, he must interact with all the quest-givers around the area, fulfill their requests, and answer their questions with the correct answers. Once all the townsfolk have gotten to know Zack, Bruno will approach him and thank him for his help, which will unlock the Good Match for Aerith trophy.
Wutai’s Nemesis
Upon interacting with the SOLDIER on LOVELESS Avenue during Chapter 4, Zack will be tasked with locating six Wutai Spies. These spies can be found hiding throughout Midgar, and must each be interacted with three times to obtain the Wutai Nemesis trophy.
Shinra’s Squats Champion
In Chapter 5, Zack can take part in a squatting minigame by entering the Training Room in the Shinra Building. There, he will be forced to squat against four different opponents, each of whom can squat quite well. Once they have all been defeated, the Shinra Squats Champion trophy will be unlocked.
Master Infiltrator
In Chapter 5, Zack will be required to infiltrate a Mako Excavation facility without being detected by guards. Being spotted by one will prevent the player from receiving the Master Infiltrator trophy, so it would be wise to save the game before approaching the facility.
Godlike
The Godlike trophy can be obtained in Chapter 4 by approaching the Attendant in the Sector 5 Slums - Market. The Attendant will ask Zack to collect twenty pieces of Materia scattered throughout the Market, and if Zack does so within fourteen seconds, the Godlike trophy will be unlocked.
Bingo!
To obtain the Bingo! trophy, players need to interact with the boy in the Sector 5 Slums - Market and take part in a short minigame. The player needs to guess how many children will walk by, and the best way to do this is to ask Aerith and the boy for their opinions. The correct answer will be the same number that Aerith and the boy suggest.
Master Blender
By approaching the Attendant at the Shopping Paradise store in the Sector 5 Slums - Market, Zack will be given the chance to partake in a minigame. The player must then create their own perfume by counting the correct amount of drops they hear. Counting the drops correctly will unlock the Master Blender Trophy.
Waterfall Chaser
During Chapter 9, Zack can obtain a few secret treasure chests hidden in the Gongaga waterfall. After winning seven battles, a cutscene will play documenting a few treasure chests floating downstream. Collecting ten of them will unlock the Waterfall Chaser trophy.
Midgar Full Of Flowers
The Midgar Full of Flowers trophy can only be obtained by creating three different Flower Wagons for Aerith. The first wagon can be built by progressing through the story, while the second and third require Zack to complete some missions and minigames. To create the Cute Flower Wagon, the player must complete the M1-2 missions, the M2-1 missions, and the M1-7 missions, while also locating the Wutai Spies. The Cool Flower Wagon can then be constructed by completing the squatting minigame on the SOLDIER Floor of the Shinra Building.
Immovable Object
The Immovable Object trophy requires Zack to defeat all thirty enemies that spawn during the attack on Junon in Chapter 6. If any of these foes reach the end of the road, the mission will be failed, so players must ensure the enemies are vanquished as quickly as possible.
Fan Club Savior
While exploring Midgar in Chapter 7, Zack will happen upon various fan club members, each of whom requires help. To obtain the Fan Club Savior trophy, Zack must assist each fan club member with whatever they require.
Seven Wonders Expert
The Seven Wonders Expert trophy can only be obtained by completing the Seven Wonders of Nibelheim side quest available during Chapter 8. To begin it, Zack must interact with the boy standing next to the water tower and oblige his request to investigate the Seven Wonders.
Limit Break Collector
The Limit Break Collector trophy can only be obtained by unlocking all the Digital Mind Wave images. Zack will unlock most of these images while progressing through the main story, but some require detours.
To ensure this trophy is unlocked, the player must obtain all optional DMW images, most of which can be found by completing certain missions. The Phoenix, however, can only be obtained by completing the Seven Wonders of Nibelheim side quest in Chapter 8.
DMW Master
The DMW Master trophy will be rewarded to the player once they have achieved 100% progress completion in each of the DMW images. Doing so requires the player to have watched each cutscene associated with all DMW images. Sadly, the cutscenes that play are entirely luck-based, so obtaining this trophy might require some patience.
Zack The Sniper
To obtain the Zack the Sniper trophy, the player must ensure Zack destroys all the Bull Heads encountered during Chapter 9. Doing so will require players to familiarize themselves with the many sniper rifles Zack will find along the path to the beach. Destroying the Bull Heads is easy enough, but if any of them escape before Zack can deal the finishing shot, the trophy will be lost.
Cage Opener
The Cage Opener trophy can be unlocked during Chapter 10 by interacting with the four tombstones spread through the area. Then, Zack must interact with the five light beams in the Lake of Oblivion and defeat the monsters that emerge.
Mail Completionist
Zack can receive 102 pieces of mail by the end of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. Most of the mail can be delivered by progressing through the story, but some can only be obtained by completing optional objectives. To obtain the Mail Completionist trophy, Zack must speak to each fan club member in Chapter 2, speak to the Sephiroth Fan and the City Planning Executive in Chapter 5, and speak to Cissnei in Chapter 6. So long as the player doesn’t reprimand the Reporter in Chapter 8, the Mail Completionist trophy will be unlocked.
Divine Rule Broken
The Divine Rule Broken trophy can be obtained by defeating Minerva during the M9-6-6: The Reigning Deity mission. Minerva is arguably the most challenging boss in the entire game, so it might take some time to acquire this trophy.
Genji Equipment
There are four pieces of Genji Equipment in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. To find them all Zack must complete a variety of different missions and objectives, each of which can easily be missed if the player isn’t careful.
Shop Completionist
Gaining access to all the shops available in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion will reward players with the Shop Completionist Trophy. Each shop is unlocked in a unique way, but the vast majority of them can be found by completing missions.
Mission Completionist
As its name implies, the only way to obtain the Mission Completionist trophy is for Zack to complete all the missions available to him. These quests can be left until the very end of the game if the player prefers, but unlocking all of them requires the completion of some side quests.
SOLDIER Of Legend
The SOLDIER of Legend trophy can only be obtained if players complete Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion on Hard Mode. While this can make the overall experience a great deal more challenging, players don’t need to play through the entire game in this mode.
If the player wishes, they can simply activate Hard Mode before entering the Light of Doom area next to the final save point. Facing the final boss in Hard Mode can be quite difficult, especially if the player has been playing on Normal Mode up to this point, but it’s the easiest way to unlock the SOLDIER of Legend trophy.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC.
