Prolific opener and under-19 WC winner in 2018 Shubman Gill was fined 100 percent of his match fee after getting involved in a tiff with the on-field umpires during Punjab’s Ranji Trophy match against Delhi last week.

Adelaide Strikers’ spinner Rashid Khan and Melbourne Stars’ pacer Haris Rauf scripted history as both completed their respective hattricks in two different BBL games in a single day.

Sydney Sixers and KKR all-rounder Chris Green was banned from bowling today after being reported for a suspect action during the Sixers’ match against Melbourne Stars last week.

#5 NZ’s Tom Latham to miss T20I series against India

New Zeland opener Tom Latham was ruled out for four weeks following a broken finger sustained during the second innings of the third Test match against Australia. Latham, who was the stand-in captain in the third Test, lead an injury-laden NZ side that made five changes for the final Test.

Latham’s injury ruled him out of the five-match T20I series against India beginning January 24 but the NZ camp is hopeful of his return for the ODI and the Test series.
